AttractionTix Ireland Pre-Launch SEO Benchmark

What Ireland gives the site today, captured before the Irish site goes live.
Baseline captured: 21 September 2026  |  Source: Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SE Ranking  |  Market: Republic of Ireland  |  Confidential

Where Ireland stands today

Irish search performance on the existing UK site over the last 16 months. These are the numbers the Irish site will be measured against.

517,081
Search Console impressions from Ireland (16 months)
2,223
Search Console clicks from Ireland (16 months)
10.79
Average position in Irish results
0.43%
Click-through rate from Ireland
79.2%
Of Irish clicks come from mobile
213
Keywords now tracked daily on google.ie, in 15 groups
What this means: Ireland already sees AttractionTix. Over half a million Irish impressions in 16 months, at an average position just inside page one, produced 2,223 clicks. A click-through rate of 0.43% is roughly a tenth of what the site achieves overall. The visibility is there; the click-through is not. Closing that gap is precisely what a euro-priced, Ireland-facing site exists to do, and it is the clearest way to express the commercial case for the launch.

Irish performance over time

Monthly Search Console clicks and impressions from Ireland, 15 May 2025 to 14 September 2026.

Jun 202612532,735−21%
Jul 202615933,914−16%
Aug 20269529,162−44%

Selected months shown. The full 16-month series is in the linked sheet. September 2026 is excluded here as a part month (data ends 14 September).
Why only three months carry a year-on-year figure: Search Console holds 16 months of data, so a like-for-like comparison is only possible where a complete matching month exists a year earlier. That covers June, July and August 2026. May 2025 is a part month (data starts 15 May) and January to April 2025 fall outside the window entirely, so those months have nothing to compare against.

Reading the trend: Irish clicks are down year on year across the last three full months, with August 2026 the lowest full month in the series at 95 clicks. Impressions held up better than clicks over the same period, and average position did not move. Worth holding in mind when comparing post-launch figures against this baseline.

Where the Irish opportunity sits

The searches where Ireland sees AttractionTix in volume but rarely clicks. This is the headroom the Irish site is being built to capture.

attraction tickets91,009870.10%7.6
siam park tickets9,835450.46%7.3

disneyland ticket prices4,48500.00%9.8
disneyland tickets paris4,01490.22%8.0
attraction tickets disneyland paris3,95380.20%8.1
What this means: the head term "attraction tickets" alone put AttractionTix in front of Irish searchers 91,009 times and earned 87 clicks. Siam Park, Disneyland Paris and the Disney ticket-price searches repeat the same pattern: strong positions, almost no clicks. These are the terms where Ireland already sees AttractionTix in volume, and where the Irish site has the most click-through to gain.

Where Irish organic visitors come from

27.7%Brand
Brand searches: 27.7% Irish users searching "attractiontix" / "attraction tix" who already know you.
Non-brand searches: 72.3% Irish users searching for tickets, parks and destinations who find you.
What this means: brand accounts for more of Ireland's clicks (27.7%) than it does across the site as a whole (around 21%). Brand searches convert well in Ireland, at 72% and 80% click-through on the two brand terms, so the people who already know AttractionTix behave exactly as you would want. The issue is the non-brand three-quarters, where Irish click-through collapses. Split is derived from the top 1,000 Irish Search Console queries, covering 1,440 clicks or 65% of Ireland's total.

Current keyword rankings on Google Ireland

Where the 213 tracked Irish keywords rank on google.ie (SE Ranking project 12917750, first complete daily check, 20 September 2026). This is the ranking benchmark we compare against after launch.

Position bandKeywordsShare of tracked set
Top 342%
Top 563%
Top 10 (page one)94%
Top 202411%
Top 303416%
Ranking within top 1004019%
Not yet ranking (beyond 100)17381%
What this means: only 19% of the tracked Irish set currently ranks at all, against 60% of the equivalent UK set. That is the honest starting position, and it is what you would expect from a UK site competing in Irish results without Irish pages. The 173 terms not yet ranking are the growth target for /en-ie/. Two commercial terms stand out today: "attraction tickets" (6,600 Irish searches) at position 3, and "disneyland paris tickets" (8,000 Irish searches) at position 15. Position bands are cumulative, so top 10 includes top 3 and top 5.
How to read the group scores: the groups that rank are the ones with a specific ticket page behind them, such as Spain at 7 of 31 and USA Disney at 4 of 6. France scores 0 of 11 because its keywords are Paris landmark searches (Moulin Rouge, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower). Europe – Other scores 1 of 32 because most of those destinations (Iceland, Rome, Amsterdam, Kraków) have no page behind them. Ireland – Local at 1 of 6 is what you would expect with no Irish pages live.

Your top organic pages in Ireland

The pages bringing in the most Irish clicks (Search Console, last 16 months). Their /en-ie/ equivalents are the ones that must be right on day one.

/tickets/port-aventura/1820,7370.09%
/tickets/viking-splash-tours-dublin/183,8680.47%
What this means: the homepage and the Disneyland Paris page carry 35% of all Irish clicks between them, so their Irish equivalents are the two pages the launch must get right first. Disneyland Paris is the single biggest opportunity on the whole Irish site: 155,353 Irish impressions converting at 0.18%. Three genuinely Irish products already earn clicks today: Viking Splash Tours Dublin, the Dublin Pass and the Guinness Storehouse.

Irish authority and link profile

Links from Irish websites, the part of the authority picture that is specific to this market (Ahrefs).

breakingnews.ie731

boards.ie6245
rollercoaster.ie544

Twelve .ie referring domains in total; the seven above carry the authority. The remainder are smaller voucher and trade sites.

What this means: there is a thin but genuine Irish link base already, led by TripAdvisor Ireland, two national news titles and boards.ie. It is a reasonable foundation to build on once there are Irish pages worth linking to. One important point for reading this report: Domain Rating, Domain Trust and the total backlink and referring-domain counts belong to the domain as a whole and cannot be split by country. They will read identically to the UK benchmark and will not move for Ireland alone, so a flat line on those metrics is not underperformance.

AI search visibility

Mobile accounts for 65.7% of Irish AI impressions, desktop 32.4%, tablet 1.9%.

What this means: AI features already put AttractionTix in front of Irish searchers 3,660 times in four months, across 424 different pages. That is around 2.8% of Irish impressions today, small but growing, and this is the baseline the Irish site will be measured against as that share rises. Notably, four of the twenty most AI-surfaced pages are blog guides rather than ticket pages, which supports the decision to duplicate the blog into /en-ie/ rather than leave it on UK URLs.
The same pattern appears here: Irish AI impressions ran at around 39 a day in July and 18 a day in August, holding at that level into September. The shape matches the fall in Irish clicks over the same period.

How to read this: the UK benchmarks measured AI visibility through prompt tracking, reporting how often AttractionTix was cited or named by ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews. This measures something different: how often Google itself surfaced a link to the site inside its AI features for Irish searches. It is Google counting its own surfaces rather than a sample of prompts, which makes it a firmer baseline. It carries no query data, so it is not directly comparable to the UK prompt-tracking figures.

Your Irish competitive landscape

Who AttractionTix competes with in Irish organic results, built fresh from google.ie rather than carried over from the UK benchmark.

DR 56 · 5 kw

Bars show shared-keyword overlap with AttractionTix in Irish results. "DR" = Domain Rating (authority). All four are now tracked in SE Ranking Ireland project 12917750.

What this means: attractiontickets.com is the strongest Irish rival on both authority and overlap, exactly as in the UK. GetYourGuide is the global OTA competing hardest for Irish ticket searches. dodublin.ie is the genuinely Irish one, competing directly on Dublin tours and passes, which is where AttractionTix already earns Irish clicks today and where the Irish site should be strongest. orlandoattractions.com is carried over from the UK benchmark for continuity, though it is small in Ireland.
The Irish set is materially different from the UK one. Three of the five competitors tracked in the UK project (orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk, magicbreaks.co.uk and tuimusement.com) do not appear in Irish results at all. Copying the UK list across would have produced a misleading picture.
Competitor brand searches in the Irish data: two generate substantial Irish impressions on AttractionTix pages with no clicks. "picniq disney" draws 17,484 impressions, and "attractiontickets paris" draws 4,943 at an average position of 4.6.

A note on what is excluded: Ahrefs also returns official attraction sites (Disneyland Paris, Siam Park, PortAventura, Go City and others) as organic competitors, because they compete for the same keywords. They are suppliers, not competitors: AttractionTix sells their tickets. They are deliberately not tracked, though they matter as SERP context, since official sites outranking resellers is part of why Irish click-through is low.

What to expect through the launch

Setting expectations up front, so normal early-stage behaviour isn't mistaken for a problem.

This is a launch, not a migration

Unlike the FloridaTix and AttractionTix moves, nothing is being replaced. The Irish pages are new URLs alongside the existing UK site, so there is no redirect risk and no dip to recover from. The risk profile is duplication and targeting, not loss.

Indexing takes time

New Irish URLs have to be discovered, crawled and indexed before they can rank. Expect little to no Irish ranking movement in the first few weeks. The tracked set starting at 19% ranking is the floor, not a result.

What protects the launch

Correct reciprocal hreflang (en-GB, en-IE, x-default), self-referencing canonicals on every Irish page, Irish structured data in euros rather than sterling, and internal links rewritten to Irish equivalents so the Irish site does not leak authority back to the UK one.

What we're actively watching

Duplicate-content risk across two near-identical English-language sites; the homepage and Disneyland Paris equivalents; and whether Irish click-through improves once euro pricing is visible.

How we'll measure it: this baseline is the reference point. Irish performance is measured as Ireland clicks to the domain, not clicks to the UK pages. After launch, Irish traffic moves from UK URLs to /en-ie/ URLs, so the UK pages will show an Irish decline that is the launch working correctly, not a loss. Organic is measured on Search Console, not GA4, because a historic consent issue makes GA4 unreliable for comparison.

What we're tracking, and what's next

Baselines in place

  • 213 keywords under daily rank tracking on google.ie in SE Ranking, in 15 groups mirroring the UK project. This is the tracked set, chosen by Fibre, and the one all ranking figures in this report are based on.
  • Search Console, Ireland only, 16 months of clicks, impressions, queries, pages and devices captured 17 September 2026.
  • Ahrefs Ireland: the site appears for 44 keywords in Ahrefs' Irish database, 2 in the top 3 and 25 in the top 10, plus the 12 Irish referring domains. This is a discovery estimate, not the tracked set, and it reads low: Ahrefs indexes far fewer Irish queries than UK ones. Search Console shows the site appearing for several hundred Irish searches.
  • Four Irish competitors tracked in the same SE Ranking project, built from google.ie results rather than copied from the UK set.
  • AI visibility: 3,660 Irish AI impressions across 120 days and 424 pages, from Google's Generative AI performance report.

What's next

  • Pre-launch checks on staging: hreflang, canonicals, euro structured data, internal linking and the Irish XML sitemap.
  • Re-run this capture the day before the Irish site goes live, so the figures in this report represent a single fixed point immediately before launch. Everything after launch is then measured against that date.

Deliberately out of scope

  • Domain-level authority. Domain Rating, Domain Trust and total backlinks are shared with the UK site and cannot move for Ireland alone.
